What it does
Section titled “What it does”Agent Delivery serves published Capell pages to AI agents and answer engines as public-safe JSON page manifests and RAG-ready semantic chunks. It provides a discovery document, a site/language page index, individual manifests, and chunks without exposing admin data.
Do I need to do anything?
Section titled “Do I need to do anything?”Usually no. Published public pages are included automatically after installation. If a page must not be available to agent delivery, set its agent_delivery.enabled metadata to false or agent_delivery.exclude to true through the page’s supported metadata workflow.
Where it shows up
Section titled “Where it shows up”There is no package-owned admin screen, setting, or command to operate day to day. Its public API is under /api/capell/agent/v1 and exposes discovery, pages, pages/manifest, and pages/chunks endpoints for the configured site and language.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Only published public pages are served. Unpublished, missing, opted-out, and package-disabled pages return
404. - The default access mode is public, but installations can configure authenticated access or add access-policy contributors. Requests are rate-limited through the configured agent-delivery limiter.
- Responses are cacheable public JSON with ETags and vary by site, language, URL, and page. The output excludes admin prompts, unsafe references, and authoring metadata.
- The package works alongside SEO and discovery features, but it is a separate public delivery API rather than a promise about how third-party AI tools will represent content.
